hi alessandro..
just two questions regarding this:
1. i suppose you've used DMA for migration of configuration settings
into 6.X?
2. which procedure you use to convert CCM 4.X into virtual ( P2V or
something else ) and what are your experience with it?
thanx..
regards..

HI, i've upgraded from CCM 4.1.3 to CUCM 6.0.1, and new it is time again to
upgrade from 6.0.1 to 6.1, 2.5 Gb upgrade :O))
The Core Linux is Red Hat Enterprise, but is Cisco Customized, so root user
is disabled, and a only cisco standard command are admitted in command shell
You can Upgrade on the same server but i must know that the installation
format the harddrive, and the installation is veru long.
Post installation task are needed for tuning little difference such, IPMA,
Attendant Consolle an so on...
If you can, use different new hardware....or, instead you can Convert real
CCM 4.2 to virtual, switch the phone to virtual machine, and install the
CUCM 6.x to the real machine....
Good Luck
