[cisco-voip] overhead paging vs ip phones

Correct. The workaround is to configure the zone controller to connect
to an FXO port. That way you can do your digit manipulation with route
patterns in CM. For example, make a pattern 1234.XX that strips pre-dot
and routes out the FXO port. Then tell IPcelerate to call 123456 and it
will pass 56 to the zone controller.

Overall, I have not found IPcelerate's integration with overhead zone
controllers to be very elegant. It works better just to let users call
the zone controller directly. Not to mention it's way easier and cheaper
to set up this way.

Can anyone comment on how IPCelerate interfaces with Bogen zone paging
controllers for example? If I setup zones on the Bogen, can the
IPCelerate call in and punch in the zone as well? I thought all that
DTMF and pauses was not supported?
