Hi,
I am trying to interconnect a CCM 5.1.3 with a Cisco Unified Personal
Server 6.0.2.1101-1, and I am having some issues.
I am using CUPC 1.2.(2.11220)
I am using Microsoft AD Server (2003 SP1 English) (for the presence
side, not for CUCM)
I read the administration guide of CUPS 6.0.1, and I followed this link
in order to troubleshoot my configuration:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186
a00808a2b0d.shtml
<http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186a00808a2b0d.shtml>
- The troubleshooter shows all green.
- CUPC shows all green.
- All the recommandation in the troubleshooting guide are followed.
- SIP trunk between CUCM and CUPS is configured as it appears in the
administration guide.
When using CUPC (Desk Phone or Softphone) I cannot add user to group.
When I search user in Active Directory I find nothing (parameters of my
AD are good,
troubleshooter show green)
When I use an LDAP Browser, all information are accurate. I can find my
users in the
Active Directory.
In Active directory (Username = Login name in CUPS and Phone Number =
Phone Number used in
CUPS.
In my actual configuration I cannot add other user to my contact list,
cannot see the presence settings and cannot use IM (due to the two
previous point)
But, when using the ccmuser page of the presence server, I can add user
to my contact
group and I can see the correct presence state of the user, can use IM.
All works great, but it is not a scalable way of using presence.
Thank you in advance for any clarification or explanation.
