[cisco-voip] T38 FAX issues

Hi,

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting FAX's to work well with
T38?  We have most of the FAX's working, and don't have issues with
inbound fax's but have issues with some outbound FAX's to some numbers
from some FAX machines.

The FAX machines are attached to a VG224 and the PSTN Gateway is a
3845 where there is a PRI.  No errors on the PRI and both gateways are
H.323.  We have tried lowering the fax rate to 9600 from 14440, and
with and without redundancy settings, disabling ecm, sg3, and we have
issues with outbound FAX's to some external numbers still.

We're also having issues FAX'ing internally from a FAX machine off the
VG224 to a FAX Machine off a VG248 at another location with T.38 and
the settings match up on both ends.
