[cisco-voip] Route Filters, Patterns and POTS Dial Peers

Regarding the CCM:
You will still want to have a Route Pattern/Route Filter for each call
type so you don't have to wait for the interdigit timeout. If you just
have 9! you have to wait, and 9.@ is going to require a Route Filter for
each pattern (I believe, I never use it without as it runs into the
interdigit timeout issue). You may have an install w/o Route Filters
and just uses patterns like 9.1[2-9]XX[2-9]XXX to define LD, etc. I
don't use those as it doesn't allow you to do more complex digit
manipulation at the Route Group level, nor use the DNA tool (which
requires @ filters for that sort of thing to understand them). However,
the point is you still want to have your Route Patterns with all your
different matches to speed up the outbound calls, but just strip the FAC
stuff off them.

Regarding the gateway:
You can cut it down to just one, but I would keep it as:
 destination-pattern 9T

The digits prior to the T will be stripped. You appear to have other
patters that don't start with 9 that go elsewhere, so you would not want
to have only a "destination-pattern ."

The only reason for keeping the extra patterns would be if you have SRST
configured on the router and wanted to restrict calls or do something
special with them.
