Subject: UCCX 5.0 on IBM supported hardware
Importance: High
Dear All,
One of my customer wants to install IPCC express 5.0 on IBM
equivalent hardware of MCS-7845 and procured x3650 server with
dual-processors. However instead of 2.33GHZ processor, IBM provided him
with 2.50GHZ processor and also told him that Intel stopped
manufacturing 2.33GHZ processor one year back.
This is a tricky situation and the hardware and software are lying idle.
The customer is approaching the deadline to start the setup.
The vendor tried loading Cisco provided OS and it did not load. It
aborted with an error that CPU speed mismatch.
The vendor then loaded the windows 2003 server software and then tried
loading IPCC Express application from DVD
IPCC Express also got aborted with the error " hardware provided by
Cisco system incorporation is required to install CRS, press ok to
abort."
I would request your help and support to come out of this situation.
Thanks and Regards,
Balvindar Sabarwal
