Not regarding the original issue but if you find when you answer a phone
connected to a VG too quickly (within the first ring) it may also experience
silence, this is a know bug, the "work around" was to put a command on the
VG to disable CLID, can't remember the exact command now though, I had this
problem with a modem that answered too quickly and we couldn't change the
modem. There's a Cisco bug ID out there for this so will probably be fixed
in a newer release of code (my issue was about a month ago).
