[cisco-voip] IPCCX: Lound static after entering dtmf

We have a customer that is complaining about static on their IVR system.
They are currently running IPCCX 3.5(4). The interesting thing is that
you only hear static after entering the first digit in a get CED step
and static continues until the full extension is punched in. I don't
hear any static or clipping when the prompts are playing and QoS has
been properly setup. I know you typically hear some noise in the
background when ipccx is processing steps but the static is extremely
loud. It seems to be amplified at their branch sites which are G729 and
being transcoded to G711. My guess is it's not an issue with IPCCX but
possibly the transcoder is amplifying this noise. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Matt
