Steve,
If you check the command line interface guide for CUE, it'll tell you how to set the first and last names via the CLI.

Subject: [cisco-voip] CUE 3.1.2 CLI Configuration
CUE 3.1.2 integrated with CM 4.2(3)
When configuring a mailbox in CUE by the GUI I am able to configure UserID, First Name, Last Name, Primary Extension...etc. When Configuring a mailbox in CUE from the CLI I am unable to define the first and last name of the USERid. Is there a way to define the first and last names in the CLI? if not, would this not break dial-by-name?
here is an example of the CLI config. There is not Name present.
username x8928100 create
username x8928100 phonenumber "8928100"
voicemail mailbox owner "x8928100" size 3000
description "x8928100 mailbox"
end mailbox
My reason for creating from CLI is becasue Usernames in CM don't start with a letter, and to change all of the usernames in CM would be much more trouble than I have time for. So I want to make a text file to configure all of the users as doing that from the GUI would take WAY too long.
Thanks,
Steve
