[cisco-voip] CCM 6.1.2 MoH works between IP Phones but not tocallers coming in from PSTN/PRI

Yes ccm-manager music-on-hold was in running config, it was originally
setup MGCP but switched to H323.  The mgcp commands are still there, I
am doing a "no" now. CCMAdmin device gateway doesn't have any MGCP
configured.  IOS is 12.4.15T6

 

Everything is G711 and same region/location, etc.  There is no other
codec in use and dial peers only have only codec preference 1 g711ulaw,
no other codecs.

 

I type all the above, then did a "show voice call summary" and see
G729r8 in use (grin), think I found my problem

 

Found dial-peer was missing voice-class codec 1.....

Does your gateway have the ccm-manager music-on-hold command in the
config?

CallManager 6.1.2.1000.13

 

If I call phone-to-phone I hear MoH, but if I call in from PSTN I get
tone on hold.

 

All phones have a Common Device Configure with MRGL assigned.

 

The H323 Gateway has a MRGL and Location assigned, reset the H323
gateway.

 

I'm stumped.
