Any idea as to what 4.2 supports to make this the requirement?

I believe there is a minimum requirement of 4.2 or higher to use the ASA
phone proxy app.

Subject: [cisco-voip] ASA 8.0.4 PhoneProxy with CCM 4.1.3

I am attempting to setup the PhoneProxy feature in ASA 8.0.4 and am running
into some issues. I have it running for a 7962 and a 7945 phone, not sure
exactly how since CCM 4.1.3 doesn't support TLS-Proxy, but nonetheless it is
working for them.

My problem is with the 7940's and IPC. The 7940's look like they are
working from the phone, but they do not show up as secure-phones on the ASA.
IPC's do not even register in secure-mode on the phone itself, but does show
up as a secure-phone on the ASA, but with a port of 0 instead of an ethereal
port. Signaling works for these 2 but RTP traffic never passes.

Are there any CCM 4.1 specific guides for using the PhoneProxy feature in
ASA 8.0.4?

Thanks,

-C
