[cisco-voip] CCM6.1 on vmware in lab - pub and sub will not communicate

Hello all,
  I've got a vmware server running two instances of cucm6.1.  The 1st one,
the pub, is working fine.  I added a second, and want it to be a
subscriber.  I'm having trouble getting the two to sync database, etc.  I
want to have a CCM group with the sub as primary, and pub as secondary ccm
for the registration.

Is the reason they are not communcating related to liscensing?  I'm
obviously doing this in a lab for learning, so I don't have liscenced mac
addresses and files to upload.  Just wondering if that is needed in ccm6.
It's been a while since I've worked with Call Manager, 4.1(3) days.  Getting
caught up again.
