A hunt pilot will not cover to a members voicemail. You can create a cti route point that' s forwarded to vm and define that extension as the forward no answer destination for the hunt pilot. Keep in mind, on ucm 5 and higher you need to assign a forward css on the hunt pilot or you'll get the telco error you're currently hearing.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Hunt List & Voice Mail

Hi, all:

I have what I believe should be a simple request, but Cisco TAC is making it what I think is overly complicated and it caused a 'Temp Fail' on my Unity Connection.

I hava a DID, which hits a Translation Pattern. This, in turn, point at a Hunt List with two DID's. If nobody picks up on either of those two numbers, I simply want it to roll to voice mail.

Cisco TAC was helping me develop a rather elegant solution involving a new voice mail server, additional vm ports, etc. It didn't work and caused issues (but it was impressive). I created a VM in Unity with a third DID, which I placed as the last number in the Hunt Group. But I still get the automated telco recording saying 'not available' in English and Spanish. I can dial the last DID and it does pick up, but getting it to forward/roll to that number seems tricky.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I enjoy reading the responses from other users, as well.

Regards,
David
