Hi Mark
That's seemed to have worked.
Cheers.

So.. almost.
There’s a few ways to do this. The easiest would be to take the call
in directly as 875 (assuming there’s no overlap). That means just
create a CTI Route Point in CCM and have its Directory Number as 875,
then have it set to call forward all to voicemail. In Unity Connection
create a call handler (auto attendant) or a subscriber and set its
extension to 875. At this point you can record greetings, set transfer
rules and caller input as you see fit.
If you have to translate the number you can do it on the gateway or in
CallManager. But you don’t want to set it to 600. You could use
something like 590 or 650 then follow the rest of the steps about
creating the CTI route point in CCM and replace the DN with whatever you
make it. The #1 reason you don’t want to use 609 or 610 or 620 or
something would be future growth of your voicemail ports and then having
non-consecutive numbers jumbling up the config.
Hopefully this makes sense…
This doc is a bit old, but still holds true on how to forward calls to
voicemail…

Subject: [cisco-voip] Unity Direct Routing Rules and
translation-rules..
Hi Folkes
We have CCM6.1 and Unity Connection 2.1.2
Currently our voice gateway has a translation-rule that converts
860 to 600
and the voip destination is the call manager.
The call manager has the VM pilot point set as 600.
( ports 601-608 )
So all calls to 860 are piloted to end up at the Unity-box auto
attendant on one of the above ports. ( this is our main reception
auto-attendant )
I now want to add a direct routing rule in Unity so that calls to
another number 875 go to a different auto-attendant message for our
support department.
The unity directed-rules have "Dialled Number" as a field to match. if
I add a new translation rule on the gateway to translate 875 to 600 will
unity pick up 875 as the dialled number and direct the call to the
correct new auto-attendant or do I have to do more work????
Hope that makes sense...
Cheers in advnace
Rob
