Hi Glen,
These don't seem to work as people expect them to and the documentation
is weak around explaining it. These codes are suppose to be induced by a
smart phone and aren't meant for manual input. However, they will work
manually.
Here is the proper sequence of digits to use the Enterprise DTMF
features:
Scenario:
User is talking to extension 1111 and wants to transfer the call to
2222. The customer will need to have configured an Enterprise Feature
DID (Call Routing->Mobility Configuration-> Enterprise Feature Access
Directory Number) which is different than the MVA DID, let's say the
Feature DID is 9789337777 in this case. Here is the order of operations:
1. On active call with 1111
2. User dials *82 (holds call)
3. Then dials 9789337777 and waits for connect
4. User dials <CUCM User Pin>#*84#2222
5. 2222 will now ring
6. Either wait for pick up then dial *84 or dial *84 to complete before
2222 answers
The same is for conferencing except you would use *85 and need to run
through the steps a second time to get a third party on the phone. When
a conference is completed, the original leg on the phone will be on
hold. It will need to be resumed to join the conference.
I hope this helps, even though it's probably not what you were hoping
for.
-Chris

Subject: [cisco-voip] Mobility + Transfer Call
Hi All,
I wonder if you can help as I cannot seem to find any documentation on
CCO on Mobility and the extended features.
I have CCM 6.1.3, and am using H323 gateways. I am trying to setup
Mobility. I can get the call to ring out to an external number by the
H323 gateway. For example :-
I call extension 1000 which has a remote destination profile of a cell
phone.
When I call 1000 a call is also generated to my mobile, I answer the
call on my mobile, what I want to be able to do is to transfer that
call, I see the I have * codes under the CCM Service Parameters. e.g *81
should place the call on hold and *84 for transfer.
Should I be able to dial *84 on my mobile once the call is connected and
transfer the call within the system?
Should this work? Do I need any other hardware?
Thanks for any help
Glen
