A session is created for each caller when it runs a script, but I don’t think you want the session ID. I don’t know if English is your native language, if not try and have someone re-write the questions you are asking and repost.

The reason to have session ID as they will have 2 reporting system ( 1 x CRS, 1 x Web server), so this uniquie ID 9 Session ID) shoudl be passwed on to web server, wihch will help to match the records in two databases. I am able to send pass on the user ID but having trouble to forward the session ID. At this tsage, when an agent answers the call, the compnay web page opens inside CAD along with date, user ID etc but the session ID is missing. this web page have differnet questions which agent will ask to the caller and submit the web pages after finising the call. So when he will submit the web pages, it will store on web server database. My customer woud like to make sure, that the session ID shoudl be same on both databases so they can genrate the reports and match the records on the basess of session ID. Any idea how to achive, Does the CRS genrate the session ID for each call and is the session ID unique through out the system?

I can see recording it or mapping the session ID to calling number in case the caller disconnects, but why would you ever want to display it to the agent.

Me? No, we record the session ID, usually via an action when the user answers. Some clients have a setup that uses an intranet web application where we can pass the session ID to to it. Things of that nature.

So you display the session ID on the CAD for your agents? I still don’t see the reason or value of displaying it.

Perhaps not to you and your applications, however we have clients that use session ID for tracking purposes, for instance with Survey applications, or internal applications that agents use. It can be used to build a proper performance tracking and reporting metric.

Why do you want the session ID displayed on the CAD? It really doesn’t have any value. Also you need to use ECC data for it to be displayed on the CAD.
