Hi,
Have a weird issue. Details below:
When you call in to the VM from the PSTN the call immediately fails but if you ring from on net VM is fine. I have done numerous debugs and the only thing i can find is the debug on the telephony leg between the AXE and Cisco Voice Gateway. Debug below:
Dec 30 09:33:35: ISDN Se0:15 Q931: RX <- SETUP pd = 8 callref = 0x001E
Bearer Capability i = 0x9090A3
Standard = CCITT
Transfer Capability = 3.1kHz Audio
Transfer Mode = Circuit
Transfer Rate = 64 kbit/s
Channel ID i = 0xA18381
Preferred, Channel 1
Progress Ind i = 0x8A81 - Call not end-to-end ISDN, may have in-band info
Calling Party Number i = 0x2183, '8005284280'
Plan:ISDN, Type:National
Called Party Number i = 0x81, '80234333'
Plan:ISDN, Type:Unknown
Dec 30 09:33:35: ISDN Se0:15 Q931: TX -> SETUP_ACK pd = 8 callref = 0x801E
Channel ID i = 0xA98381
Exclusive, Channel 1
Dec 30 09:33:36: ISDN Se0:15 Q931: TX -> CALL_PROC pd = 8 callref = 0x801E
Dec 30 09:33:36: ISDN Se0:15 Q931: TX -> FACILITY pd = 8 callref = 0x801E
Facility i = 0x9FAA068001008201008B0100A1150202084E020114300C0A01010A0102800437303030
- Unknown Service Discriminator
Dec 30 09:33:36: ISDN Se0:15 Q931: TX -> ALERTING pd = 8 callref = 0x801E
Dec 30 09:33:36: ISDN Se0:15 Q931: RX <- STATUS pd = 8 callref = 0x001E
Cause i = 0x829F - Normal, unspecified
Call State i = 0x09
Dec 30 09:33:36: ISDN Se0:15 Q931: TX -> RELEASE pd = 8 callref = 0x801E
Cause i = 0x80E5 - Message not compatible with call state
Dec 30 09:33:36: ISDN Se0:15 Q931: RX <- RELEASE_COMP pd = 8 callref = 0x001E
Topology is:
Mitel (pots) Cisco Rtr (voip) Cisco RTR (POTS) AXE.
I found this on the Cisco Website:
The remote equipment receives an invalid message with no standard cause.
This cause indicates that the equipment receives a message that is not permissible in the call state according to the procedures. This cause can also indicate that the equipment receives a STATUS message to indicate an incompatible call state.
The issue occurs due to a D-channel error. If the error recurs, report the error to your ISDN service provider.
Anyone ever come across this?
All i can think is to upgrade the IOS.
Cheers
Kev
