There should be an option to say that you don't want to reboot when it's done installing. Remember changes made before the reboot will not get propagated.

Subject: Re: [cisco-voip] Upgraded Partition Backout

This is before I switch over to the upgraded version. The scenario I am being asked to address is:

Upgrade inactive partition > Do not reboot.

In between the time that I upgraded the inactive partition and the scheduled switch over to complete the upgrade the evil inactive partition takes over the system and refuses to allow the telephones to work. I need to answer how to vanquish this fiend from the system.

On CUCM 6.1.x is there any method to back out an upgrade to an
inactive partition? I have done this type of upgrade at least half a
dozen times with never a problem but I am being asked from a change
management perspective. My original answer of contacting TAC is not
working for me.

Thanks
Steve
