I was hoping to be able to allow devices to call it and use meet me, etc.
I slapped an ATA on it for now, but wanted to eliminate that if I could.

I'll answer Scott's question first:
While it can be configured as a Third Party SIP device, you lose features (no meetme, no conference, no call park etc). It also is not supported by Polycom or Cisco.
Bob:
Are you looking to make it a device like phones so it cal dial devices inside CUCM, or simply make it so phones can call it?

Sounds like it should be configured as an advanced SIP device.

On the same issue.... Has anyone setup a Polycom Viewstation FX as a device in Call manager? I have been looking to see if it was possible but cannot find any information.

has anyone bought direct from Polycom (eg. the conference phones 7937 equivalent) and got it working on a CM 6.1 Cluster? I'm just thinking if I can save some money. ;-)
