Starting with later versions of CCM 4 and carried into CUCM 6 and higher you
had different fields for internal and external calls.

Have you checked the phone's line setting to see if the external call
forward no answer/busy targets are set to your voicemail number?

Subject: [cisco-voip] External number with no voice mail?

Hey guys,

I have a question, I have a phone configured to the CUCM 6.0.1, the phone
seems to be working fine, but there is an issue with voicemail and external
calls.

When the phone receives externals calls and no one is there to pick the
phone up, the calls are not forwarded to voicemail but internal calls made
to that extension get forwarded to vociemail???

Could someone help shed some light on this.

P.S. the voicemail system is IPFX.
