Many thanks Andy. I do have a CCO login but when I try accessing the below link it says I need additional entitlement level. I checked all options I don't know which one I missed but I still get Presence status is Disconnecting (Pending Retry).

Thanks,

Kiran

You don't appear to have configured anything on the CUP Server.

assuming you have a CCO Login
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/voice_ip_comm/cups/7_0/english/install_upgrade/deployment/guide/CUPdeploy.html

or

I can recommend the following book

Deploying Cisco Unified Presence
ISBN 978-0-557-03953-1

the majority of the info is based on presence 6 so some of the menus have been changed but the troubleshooting is very good.

Try going to Help->Show Server Health and look for errors. You may

have limited connectivity to the CUPS server.

Thanks Kiran, that worked. Now I can login on the Personal

Communicator as well but when I add a contact it doesn't appear in

contacts list. At the bottom of the windows it says Connected

(Limited). What does that mean?

Thanks

Assign CUPS capability which gets reflected in the column "Licensed CUP"

The next sync b/w CUPS and CUCM would do the work.

Guys,

I have just installed CUPS7 and configured it in my CUCM7

environment. I am trying to assign users to a Node under System-

 >Topology option but I can't see any of my CUCM7 users there. But I

can see all the users in User managementàEnd users. What

configuration step did I miss? License?

Many thanks,
