Sorry let me rephrase.
UCCX can do this but nothing built into call manager or Unity can initiate
an outbound call like what you are asking for. J

This is not a feature of CUCM. IF they want to wait you can configure a
directed park slot. UCCX can do this but nothing built into call manager or
Unity can initiate an outbound call.

Subject: [cisco-voip] CallBack
I have a difficult Customer that is demanding the following. We just
installed configured CUCM 7.0(2). In a Callback scenario as I know it, it
works as follows: Caller A calls Caller B. Caller B gets a notification that
there is another call waiting, but Caller A does not see that Caller B is
busy. The customer insist they want this functionality. On their current
PABX they get a message that says dial 5 to initiate a callback. I'm not
aware of any functionality like this on CallManager. I can give them a busy
tone, but then they will have to redial to get the option for callback, and
also they will loose the functionality to call forward busy/no answer, which
they want, and is setup to forward back to the site's pilot point. Please
can anyone give me any suggestions here?
