[cisco-voip] CUCM 7 under VMWare

The odd thing is...I did an initial CUCM 7 install with 36GB and it worked
perfectly. It just decided to eat itself the other day so I'm starting it
again.

Will try with 80GB and see what happens.

(I'd still like to find some way to clean it off).

Samll correction.

I don't think we "block" upgrades with less than 80GB, but I do remember
them failing in CUCM 7. Perhaps something changed.

Hi Phillip,

It sounds like you didn't create a big enough HDD. I believe the requirement
is 80 although I thought we blocked the install in VMWare if the HDD wasn't
big enough. I believe the size should be 80GB. I believe this works out to
2x 20GB active/inactive and a roughly 40GB common(logging) partition.

9GB does not sound like enough for a common partition hence, I think you
need to specify a larger HDD size and re-install.

I just starting building a CUCM 7 system under VMWare.

It builds fine however it has one major issue.

The logging partition (all 9GB of it) is full.

Anyone run into this before?

How can I clear out this partition?
