Double key presses are either ignored (locked keys) or passed to another call handler, i.e. 1 2 would go to the #2 choice on the call handler input on the call handler that 1 sent you to.

Common practice is not to give a user more than 5 or 6 choices anyways.

You'll have to figure out a way to make this simpler. For example, 0 always goes to their local admin person. 1 always goes to the HQ admin person and 9 lets them select from regional offices. In the regional offices, you could group them and then send them to another call handler.

You also don't want them to have to deal with more than 2 menus.

Tough call.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Unity & Caller Input Map

Greetings,

Once a caller hits someone’s VM, we would like to be able to give the caller the option to press 0 and send the caller to our operator. Actually we do this already using Caller Input in Unity. Nowadays we have multiple offices and would like to have such an option for each office, so we can send the caller to an admin asst. located at each office--rather then just send the caller to our main office operator.

Problem is, it appears the Caller Input Map’s keys are limited to 12 total; we need more than are available. I assume I’m correct that you can’t set up Caller Input to enter 2 digits, say 1 and 5, to send a caller somewhere? Any other way to accomplish this in Unity?

Thanks

jeff
