[cisco-voip] cucm, unity, uccx upgrade to version 7

I am in the middle of doing this for a customer...

So here goes:
I suspect you are on CCX ver 5.0(2) that supports CCM 6.0 and 6.1
To upgrade to 7.0 for that you will need to upgrade CCX to 7.0 and then upgrade CCM to 7.0--
CCX 7.0 supports CUCM 6.1 and 7.0. (check the SR # on the link below...)

Page 25 is what you are likely going to want to see....

my new understanding is that you upgrade all your other applications then CM.

So, what I understand from SE is that UCCx you can upgrade to ver7 and leave Cm at 6.x then upgrade CM later.

Unity is all based on TSP thus it works with about anything.

But as for the Servers........ you will have to check to see what hardware is compatible with the Version of software.

UC has way to high of specs vs unity.  --> it does NOT promote people moving from Unity to UC.
