[cisco-voip] cme SNR volume issues

I've run into a baffling issue, a  small CME setup with a 2801, using
a 4 port FXO.  When using SNR, the volume is really low.  Normal calls
in and out of any of the 4 lines are fine, volume is normal.  Call
flow is as follows, call goes into the main line which is port 0/0/0,
rings for 15 seconds, and SNR dials out to a cell on port 0/0/3, the
call is on-hold on the cisco phone (7961).  When the user answers the
call, it's clear, just hard to hear.

I tried bumping up  max-conferences 4 gain from -6 up to 3, but it had
no effect.  But does that really come into play?

Thoughts or ideas?
