Actually MTPs don't support multicast so with the MTP you are using
unicast MOH.
Do you have the command 'ccm-manager music-on-hold' on the router? I
believe it is required for MMOH to work over H.323 since technically
the protocol doesn't support multicast.

Multicast MoH
you get nothing without the MTP required checked. No tone, not music,
not static....... Nothing.
I seen a bug back on 12.1 code that said use the MTP required so I
tried it. that's the only thing I have found that will get the
Multicast MoH to work

Can you define "doesn't work"? Do you hear silence or get tone on hold?

I have a 2800 VGW H323 to Cm 7.1.3.
Moh does not work unless I check the MTP required on the GW for PSTN
callers. why is that?
IOS ver is 12.4.24t
Thanks
