[cisco-voip] ARC Connect CT Server does not start after Anti-V irus loaded.

It sounds like the AV you installed is more than AV. Maybe it has a
built in firewall, or some sort of malware/Trojan protection that is
being triggered incorrectly. Is there a list of trusted applications you
can add your ARC stuff to?

Definately AV. Even as I excluded the whole of C:, it stil did the same.
I ended up disabling on-access scan, and just scheduled a full scan at
night.

The ARC CT server only needs the ARCData folder and the Cisco TSP/CTI
stuff to be able to start.
If you are convinced it is AV, which would not surprise me as it caused
us issues as well, I would recommend checking the logs of the AV and
seeing what it has an issue with....maybe it's detected a "suspicious"
file and has moved it somewhere??
We ended up removing our AV off the ARC server as the server only ran
that and the AV stuff caused the connection to the client to drop out
frequently.
You could also try putting an exception in for C:\Program Files\Cisco

I need some help with ARC. My customer installed Anti-Virus, and since
then the ARC Connect CT server does not start. The moment we remove
Anti-Virus, it starts. We have excluded the c:\ArcData folder, but it
still does not work. Any other folder we need to exclude?
