[cisco-voip] External Callers Voicemail does not get to users nor does mwi work? anyone heard of this ?

Mike, 

you were right, the unity server was registering to the wrong DC probably  because the right DC had been rebooted and uinty just went to the next available device

I have, it’s a back end service issue.  Do you have multiple unity servers and / or message stores?
 
In my customer’s case, a reboot of Unity addressed it as well.

internal vm works when someone leaves a message.The users receive a new message notification and can retrieve the vm . External users calling into the system get to the persons vm box, leave a message but the user never receives the vm nor does the mwi notify the called party there is a voice message waiting. 
 
rebooted the unity server and all is fine now. We have not done any updates or patches lately so this is a new problem that just popped up suddenly.

Anyone ever seen this?
