[cisco-voip] 7940 Power Save Mode

We did some testing with a Kill-A-Watt meter to help determine the actual
cost savings per switch. For a 7940 phone that was shut off for 10 hours in
the evening hours, we would save about $.10 a phone per month at $.08/KWHR
on electricity. Newer phones consume more Watts, but also cost more to
operate so the savings was about equal.
In some environments, this can probably add up quick. However, this
particular environment is about 100 phones total so the $10/month
electricity savings is minimal. It was interesting figuring it out though.

Has anyone else done a cost analysis on Energywise? I'd be curious if my
numbers match up...
