[cisco-voip] Toshiba eStudio 351c (no FAX speed setting) - is turning ECM off enough for SG3 to G3?

This has to do with my previous post about moving a remote site from Cisco relay to pass-through.

They are currently using VG248s with 3725 PRI (MGCP). We are moving them over to VG248s and 6608s + 3845 PRI (all MGCP).

Here's a link to my original message which has some details.

http://cisco-voip.markmail.org/search/?q=#query:%20from%3A%22Lelio%20Fulgenzi%22+page:1+mid:pa7b5wltlxzkvohb+state:results

But I'm guessing this line on the 3725 is doing what you are saying?

mgcp fax rate 14400

And possibly the VG248 config setting: Fax relay maximum speed (default: 14400 bps)

But it seems both those commands are for relay only.

How do I do this for passthrough?

What are you using to connect the fax to the IP network? VGs and gateways with FXS ports have a command that can downspeed a fax.

It doesn't look like the Toshiba eStudio 351c has a FAX transmission setting that I can find. There is an ECM setting.

Is turning off ECM enough to turn off SG3?

Has anyone out there figured out how to downspeed a Toshiba eStudio 351c?
