So chances are better than 50/50 that you’ll be able to physically install the card while it’s up.

 

Problem you’re going to run into is that none of the cards will show in the config until after reboot.

I've tried searching CCO but can't find anything that says I can or can't install a vic3 module live on the router while it's up. 

Shutting down a router with a CUE engine in it is a drag.
