When you say it works are you talking about the router commands or configuring in Call Manager? What MAC did you use in Call Manager?

hmmm. works. I basically copied over my VG224 config and plugged in the MAC of gi0/0 and it works.
now, is it supported? ;)

I don’t think you can use a loopback for this. If I remember right this is the same as setting up a transcoder / conference bridge resource and you have to use a physical adaptor.

The MAC address you configure for SCCP traffic to bind to.
sccp local gigabitEthernet 0/0

OK, silly question, what MAC address do I use when configuring a VIC3-2FXS-E/DID with SCCP?
Is it similar to a VG248 where I use the MAC address of fas0/0?
So on a 3900, I would use the MAC address of GigabitEthernet0/0 ?
I'll try that and see how it goes.
