I didn't say you couldn't use it in you sccp bind statement. I said you
couldn't use it for a transcoder / CFB configuration.

The loopback can be used and is preferable to use it. However, you need to
make sure it is included in your routing table.

Since when can't you use a loopback interface is your SCCP bind
interface? I'm not aware of that limitation.
