Thanks for clearing that up Bill. I think some of us (definitely me) read that a bit quicker than we should have. It's also helpful to know you need a physical address for transcoder/CFB configuration. 

Now, do you mean physical IP address?

I didn't say you couldn't use it in you sccp bind statement. I said you 
couldn't use it for a transcoder / CFB configuration.

The loopback can be used and is preferable to use it. However, you need to 
make sure it is included in your routing table.

Since when can't you use a loopback interface is your SCCP bind 
interface? I'm not aware of that limitation.
