[cisco-voip] CUCM 8 and VMWare

Only on UCS and only on the more expensive B series blades right now I believe.  I am running in Workstation for my tests. It doesn't know the difference but I'm sure TAC can find out. They say 3rd party eventually will come down the pike.

The requirements for vmware are pretty high for running CUCM8 as well.  I think it requires 6GB of RAM and 2 vCPUs.  Not that bad, but if you needed to run 2-3 servers, that could add up quickly for a smaller vmware shop.  I thought I read that it was only supported on the new UCS server platform by cisco.  Is this true, or can you use a third-party built cluster?
