[cisco-voip] can a gateway without ports register to CUCM?

you can do the config but not much value in it.
there is packet exchange for the 'router' this is separate from the
packet exchange for individual ports. you can configure router to point
to CM, configure it in CM, and get packets flowing between them. last i
checked ccmadmin would not show the registration status of the router,
it only shows registration status of endpoints under the router.
