[cisco-voip] Multicast MoH with SIP Trunk

Hmm, not sure about MMOH over a SIP Trunk. After much deliberation, we have made it work using an H323 trunk, but only for calls arriving from an IOS ingress GW. We had to set Service Parameter Send Multicast MOH in H.245 OLC Message to false to allow it to work with CVP's H323 stack. We also discovered several bugs, one included calls from IP Phones, where the call flow was IP Phone -> CVP -> VXML GW -> Agent IP Phone resulted in a phone publishing audio to the MMOH group instead of subscribing. Thankfully we worked around this one as it could have been a serious privacy issue. Another was that the MMOH source interface on the IOS gateway had to be a physical (not a loopback interface).
I would be very interested to know how you get on with MMOH over a SIP trunk, sorry I can't shed any light on this.
Regards
James.

Sip does not support multicast moh yet.

Hi all;
I have a SIP trunk to a CVP that accept incoming calls from the IPCCE system after the PSTN caller hears the IVR and selects an option to be transferred to an agent...when PSTN caller transferred and talk with the agent for a while then if the agent needs to be the call on hold the PSTN caller hear nothing "just dead air" I can see on RTMT that a Multicast MoH device is invoked with this step, but nothing is streamed from the router.
I am sure that M-Moh is working as when the agent starts a direct call from his phone through the H323 GW "the same that calls come in and the same that hosts MMoh" and when the agent puts the customer on hold we are able to here MoH normally and I can see the same device is invoked on the RTMT and even on the router I can see that there is a Multicast MoH stream going out on the loopback interface.
Any ideas? Is Multicast MoH is not supported with SIP trunk in my situation "Unicast is working normally by the way".
