[cisco-voip] Presence Question

Sorry, should have provided some more detail. I want to be able to use
CUPC to monitor the status of a group of telephones. I got this to work
this morning, I was not associating the lines properly. One thing I do
notice is that the status for a desk phone user shows offline when the
users phone is not in use. I think it should better reflect the status
by saying something like offline, phone idle.

I don’t think so, where are you trying to look at the presence from?

Subject: [cisco-voip] Presence Question

For me to see the status of a regular IP desk phone is it required
that they have an associated CUPC instance and desktop control enabled?
