Hi,

 

I will list the following Possibilities and steps for the registration
rejected message. 

 

1)       The firmware that u have downloaded check the md5, some times the
firmware would be corrupted. I faced this problem. 

2)       Licensing should not be an issue.

3)       Check that u have downloaded the .sgn firmware. It should end with
cop.sgn .

4)       Try doing manual registration of 1 phone and try auto-registration.

5)       If there are any phones working download the firmware of that
working phones and install, that should fix your problem 100%

Hi,

It is a new installation.
The phones say "registering" then display the "Registration
Rejected:Security Error"
I have upgraded the firmware from 8.3-2 to 8.5-2SR1S
CCM version is CCBE 7.13

Is the phone trying to upgrade the firmware? If so, install Cisco Phone
firmware load 8.5(2).
