[cisco-voip] VT Advantage and Polycom RMX

Progress; I've installed CUVA 2.2.1.4 and now I am receiving scrambled
video. Almost appears like a television sync issue. I can see colors
and lines but the images are completely indiscernible.

Any other thoughts?

Not sure how similar the RMX is to the MPX but CSCsl48146 is something
to look out for.

I believe CSCsz08942 is the bug Phil is referring to, which is actually
an enhancement and should be fixed in 2.2(1) that is on cisco.com.

There is a bug with CUVA where it advertises support for 2CIF when it
cannot support 2CIF. The RMX sees this and sends 2CIF video to CUVA.
I've not checked to see if there is a fixed version of CUVA out there
that corrects this. I know Cisco TAC has a hotfix for this issue.

Double-right click in the CUVA windows to bring up it's diagnostic
window. If it is receiving video at all it may not be in a format that
the app can decode.

Additional information from testing. When dialing into the Polycom MCU
(rmx2000) video is sent from VTAdvantage and participants can see the
VTA participant, but does not receive. The RMX says it is sending
video. I am getting closer but feel I am missing something somewhere.
Has anyone tried this before??

Does anyone know or even have experience using the VT Advantage client
to access a Polycom RMX bridge unit?

I was able to configure a voice connection (H.323) from my call manager
to the Polycom RMX for voice access to conferences and noticed that my
VT Advantage window would launch when connected (but no video)

Just wondering if it's even possible
