[cisco-voip] CUCIMOC / Polycom RMX 2000

Correct... It does not work in 64-bit. Reason being the CDP driver is not 64-bit compatible and that driver is required for CUPC / VA to see the desk phone.

are you running Windows 7 64 bit ? the release notes indicate that deskphone video is not supported in 64 bit.

A quick check of the release notes says CAST is supported in CUCIMOC 8 so the functionality is there.

Can you call between IP phones and get video?

At the end of the day somebody in Cisco gave you that software to test, and is going to be incented to help you get it working.

>From a troubleshooting perspective enable H.245 debugs in the CCM traces and make a call from CUCIMOC, then from CUVA to the same Polycom phone. Look at the media negotiation to see what's different.

This is the important part. If this version is intended to replace CUVA to allow video from the PC and audio from the hard phone then you need to engage whoever you got the software from for support on it.

to add to this.... if I use the Cisco Unified Services Framework Device the video works. it's only when I use the physical phone where I run into this issue.

So we have upgraded to CM 7.1.5bsu2.

we have our Polycom RMX2000 setup as a H323 gateway.

Before the pilot we had VT advanage working with it without a problem.

Now with CUCIMOC we get NO video (audio is fine). In the RMX is shows a connection fault.

Anyone have this working? Did you have to do something special to get it working?

TIA
