You don't have to change MoH on each individual line, you can set it in the
COMMON DEVICE CONFIGURATION(s).
I have never tried it but I would think to kill MoH you could create an MRG
that does not contain an MoH resource and assign it to a new MRGL and assign
said MRGL to every device pool and then reset the phones.
I'm not sure why you are killing MoH but UCM's MoH is quite simple to
add/update/manage, etc. There is also an option of a fixed audio source (you
must purchase a specific USB line-in adapter to plug into one of your
servers) if you would prefer to stream audio from an iPod, etc.
Thanks,

Subject: [cisco-voip] MOH Question
All,
We are running CUCM 7.1.3 and I would like to turn off MOH on the Cluster.
We do not have a separate MOH Server and are using the default that comes
with CUCM. I understand that you can assign a MOH file on the line level of
each individual phone but I want to turn it off cluster wide. If I were to
go in and take remove MOH from the Media Group Resource List would that do
what I am looking to do.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Briann
