Have you tried posting to the forums? I know Jeff L. reads them. He might come back and say, 'yes that is the expected result' but at least you'll know for sure. If you ask nicely, he might even think about putting a checkbox that says 'throttle execution for business hours operation" or something.

We gave admin rights in Unity Connection for the dorms employees, so that they can manage their residents. Each day, they have move/add/changes. And each day, multiple times a day, they build distribution lists(DL) so that they can reach students for different reasons.

Then, the UC admin tries to build a DL from that .csv file with the tool « Distribution List Builder » and boum!!! Up goes the CPU and delays like ”Please enter your pin…………..New messages………………….1………….”.

I know it’s not the best way they could use to reach out for their students, but they’ve doing it this way for years and they’re saying “Hey, the old system used to do it with no problems at all!” which is very true L
