what type of console cable are you using?

if it's USB-Serial, you need to have the right drivers installed and the correct COM port selected or you'll get nothing.

I saw someone connect to an Aux port instead of Console recently and get that result.

yesterday i worked on 2921, 2960sw, VG224GW, they all was working now today trying to connect thru console port on router, switch, none of them working does any one experience this issue it happened to me first time after connect to console port CRT is blank, tried putty blank any idea suggestions pls?
