[cisco-voip] Personal caller ID?

I learned a couple things in this area recently:

* Routing by calling party number is possible now. This opens up a
world of possibility:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/8_0_2/ccmfeat/fshotline.html#wp1422478

* If using IOS it is possible to do translation on calling party name:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps5640/products_configuration_example09186a0080982499.shtml#modify
15.1(3)T has more flexibility where you can match other lines than the
one you are modifying, and store variables.

* SIP normalization also came into CM8.5:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/docguide/8_5_1/dg851.html#wp54260

Aside from those you are back to the old options of:
* route to IP-IVR to do markup and redirect
* use partner apps that use jtapi or cti monitoring of lines to
intercept caller information, do database dip, and do screen pop.

Regards,
Wes
