[cisco-voip] Do not change IP addres in CUCM 8.5

I am doing a migration from 6 to 8.5 and I will need to change the IP
address. Can I install a fresh version of 8.5 with the new IP address and
restore a backup from a server with the old IP address?

This bug list CUCMBE as the effected poduct. Does this apply to CUCM as
well?

Hi All,

The IP address change procedure does not perform as expected in CUCM 8.5(1).
Changing an IP address will result in service failure on the node in which
IP address is changed. If this issue is encountered, TAC can provide a
workaround with remote access.

The defect ID is CSCtn29923. This does not impact any version of CUCM prior
to 8.5(1).

Regards,
