We recently upgraded Unity 5.x to ES86 for integration with new Exchange 2010 cluster.
The upgrade itself was a nightmare with a three week TAC case full of misinformation and weak advice.
We finally got the thing to work after I sent an web article to TAC on the final issue with the upgrade.
A week later the TUI stopped working for the exchange 2010 subscribers.
TAC has only been able to advise redoing the MAPI ODI part of the upgrade, which I did, but it did not help.
Here is the run down.
Upgraded Unity 5 with ES86.
Upgraded MAPI ODI with latest from MS.
Exchange 2003 is the partner server. 2010 is for message store only.
Upgrade worked for a while.
Now Exchange 2010 subscribers get messages to their e-mail but cannot logon through the phone to get or send VM.
When the Messages button is pressed we get please enter your password then silence.
Errors pop on event monitor.
