[cisco-voip] CallManager 7.1(5b) Media Check Failed

I recently upgraded a costumers presence server from 6.x to 8.x.
I had a dvd, in a sealed box, from cisco containing the upgrade from 6.x to 7.x. So I upgraded from 6.x to 7.x with this dvd via the webpage.
After that I wasn't able to activate services (they were GONE on the webpage) and the database seemed to have serious issues.

After that I put the dvd in a server and run a media check and it failed.

So I would not recommend to skip the media check and continue with the installation.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Kind Regards

Not quite what I was hoping for:

"Cisco has found defect CSCtq38640 in which causes this a false error message. This defect was due to internal systems changes to accommodate dual-layer DVD requirements. This resulted in incorrect volume labeling, causing software checks to report a false alarm stating the disk contents were invalid. The workaround is to attend the install and choose to skip the media check. "

Wes

There is currently an issue in manufacturing. TAC has a canned response. If not, please let me know.

Wes

Ordered via PUT CM7.1-K-UPG= , opened the sealed box and slide the DVD into new server. Ran the Media Check and to my surprise it failed! Contacting TAC.
