[cisco-voip] CUC 8.5 to 8.6 upgrade in VM

Update, Aparently my latest failed attempt was not because of the VM but because I seem to have turned off the Subscriber CUC and it failed to contact it. Will try again tomorrow and update.

Bumped RAM to 4GB, Failed again, I'm considering jumping straight to 8.6.2a, maybe there is an issue with that version.

CUC 8.6 has OVA Changes and increased requirements. If you already installed it, you have to manually change your VM settings to use 4 GBs instead of two, I think there may be other things but that's the main one that is probably getting you.

Thanks for the update. To upgrade from CUCM 8.0.and 8.5 to 8.6 you need to
install a COP file to do the upgrade:

"Caution For both restricted and unrestricted upgrades from an 8.5(x) or
earlier release to an 8.6(x) release, this patch (COP file) must be applied
prior to initiating the upgrade. Before you upgrade from compatible versions
of Unified CM, install the COP file named
ciscocm.refresh_upgrade_v1.0.cop.sgn that you can find under:

I deployed CUC 8.5 with HA in with two C200M2 servers using the 8.5 OVA (cucm_8.5_vmv7_v2.1.ova) for 500 CUC users, I tried to Upgrade to CUC8.6 and got this error, I went to the site and my HW is within SPECs, any idea what this might be?? CUCM upgraded without a HITCH and I used the same DVD to Install the 8.5 CUCM and CUC.
